Trust the Flow of Life
One thing I like about yoga is that for an hour you don't know what's coming next, you don't know which posture the teacher will cue to, but you're ok with that. Maybe if you're new to yoga you may be a little uncomfortable, but for the most part you're willing to just go with it, give it a shot, and trust what comes next. How many times in your daily life are you just totally ok with the unknown, you don't know what's coming next but it doesn't bother you, you trust in yourself to figure it out?
If you're like me, not very often. So I ask myself, why am I willing to trust that I'll be able to handle what's next, to just go with the flow into the unknown in a yoga class, but not in my everyday life? Why do I so often worry about what's coming next? Maybe because in yoga we trust the teacher won't take us into something we can't handle, but in life we have to trust the universe won't take us into something we can't handle. We'll never be able to know for sure what's coming next in life, we may as well just go with the flow and trust we can handle whatever comes next. I challenge you to really embody the feeling of going with the flow throughout your practice, and then try to take that attitude with you into your daily life.
